Gauge Pattern: To Start: Make a Ch of 17. Row 1: SC in the 2nd Ch from the hook and each ch across. Ch4 and turn. (16) Row 2: Sk1 stitch, TC in the next. *Ch1, Sk1 stitch. TC in the next.*Repeat ** across.
Gauge Pattern = 5 inches in width. Height is unimportant.

Pattern
To start: Make a Ch of 70 (82, 96) SLST into the first Ch to begin working in rounds. Be careful not to twist the Ch.
Round 1: Ch1. SC in each Ch around. SLST to join. 70 (82, 96)
Round 2: Ch4 (Counts as the first TC and Ch1). Sk1 stitch. *TC in the next stitch. Ch1, Sk1 stitch.* Repeat ** around. SLST into the 3rd Ch to join. Pull the working yarn to tighten the SLST. 70 (82, 96)
Round 3: SLST into the Ch1 space (do not tighten). Ch4 (Counts as the first TC and Ch1). Sk1 stitch. *TC in the Ch1 space. Ch1, Sk1 stitch.* Repeat ** around. SLST into the 3rd Ch to join. Pull the working yarn to tighten the SLST. 70 (82, 96)
Repeat Round 3 until your whole cowl measures:
Toddler: 11 inches
Child: 13 inches
Teen/Adult: 15 inches
Round 4: Ch1. SC in each stitch and Ch space around. SLST to join. 70 (82, 96)
Finish off
Weave in ends.
