Toddler
Mitten Top To Start: Work 5 SCs in a Magic Circle. Slst to join and Ch1. (5)
Round 1: 2 SC in each stitch around. Slst to join and Ch 1. (10)
Round 2: 2 SC in the first stitch, SC in the next stitch. *2 SC in the next stitch, 1 SC in the next stitch.* Repeat ** around. Slst to join and Ch1. (15)
Round 3: 2 SC in the first stitch, SC in the next 2 stitches. *2 SC in the next stitch, 1 SC in the next 2 stitches.* Repeat ** around. Slst to join and Ch1. (20)
Round 4: 2 SC in the first stitch, SC in the next 3 stitches. *2 SC in the next stitch, 1 SC in the next 3 stitches.* Repeat ** around. Slst to join, Ch1 and TURN. (25)
Round 5: SLST in the first stitch. *DC in the next stitch, SLST in the next.* Repeat ** around. The row should end with a SLST. SLST to join, Ch1 and TURN. (25)

For Right Mitten
Round 8: HDC in the first 2 stitches. Loosely Ch 3, Skip 3, HDC in the next. HDC in the rest of the stitches around. Slst to join, Ch1 and TURN. (22 HDC and 3 Chains)
For Left Mitten
Round 8: HDC in the first 20 stitches. Loosely Ch 3, Skip 3, HDC in the next. HDC in the rest of the stitches around. Slst to join, Ch1 and TURN. (22 HDC and 3 Chains)

Round 9: SLST in the first stitch. *DC in the next stitch, SLST in the next.* Repeat ** around (in all the stitches and chains.). Slst to join, Ch1 and TURN. (25)

Cuff
To start: While remaining attached to the mitten, Ch 5
C Row 1: SC in the second Ch from the hook and each Ch across. Slst to the same stitch as the joined yarn. SC2tog over the next 2 stitches along the main mitten portion. TURN. (4 SC and 1 SC2tog)
C Row 2: Sk over the SC2tog, SC in the BLO of each stitch across. Ch1 and turn. (4 SC)
C Row 3: SC in the BLO of each of the 6 stitches. SC2tog over the next 2 stitches along the main glove portion. TURN. (4 SC and 1 SC2tog)
Repeat C Rows 2 and 3 until all the stitches along the main glove portion have been worked into.
Hold the first cuff row and last cuff row together and Slst along stitches to close up the cuff.
Finish off. Weave in ends.
Thumb
In the hole left for the thumb, attach yarn and Ch1.
T Round 1: Evenly work 11 HDC around the opening. Slst to join and Ch1. (11)
T Round 2: SC2tog, SC in the next 7 stitches, SC2tog. Slst to join and Ch1. (9)
T Round 3: HDC in each stitch around. Slst to join and Ch1. (9)
Repeat Round 3 until the thumb measures 1.5 inches.
T Round 4: SC2tog in the first 8 stitches. SC in the last stitch. Slst to join. (5)
Finish off. Leave a tail. Weave tail in and out of the remaining 5 stitches. Pull tight to close the hole. Make a knot to secure the thumb portion. Weave in ends.
Child
Mitten Top To Start: Work 5 SCs in a Magic Circle. Slst to join and Ch1. (5)
